Dr. Goldstein is the Director of the Learning Enhancement and Academic Progress Center and Assistant Professor in Clinical Nursing for the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing. In addition to her full-time faculty appointment, Dr. Goldstein is an adult nurse practitioner working primarily in hospice and long-term care. Dr. Goldstein’s current work focuses on creating innovative learning experiences using technology and peer learning.  She is currently the Primary Investigator on a $200,000 Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Grant directed at increasing the use of simulation in nursing education while incorporating nursing and learning theory.

Dr. Goldstein graduated in 2013 with her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor as an undergraduate. She has over 26 years of nursing experience primarily in adult health and has worked in a variety of positions and settings.
